Elisha Walker was a 20-year-old transgender woman who had been missing for almost a year. She was a church member and beloved family member.
Elisha was found dead in a crude grave having been killed by her ex-boyfriend and gang member. He had killed her at home by means of asphyxiation and blunt-force trauma. It was thought that she was killed in his home after attempting to break up with her boyfriend at the time.
Was justice served?
Justice was served. In 2017, her ex-boyfriend and killer confessed to her murder and was sentenced to 19-24 years in prison. He is still serving to this day.
